Fans of the Jordan V certainly have a lot to look forward to this fall, starting with tomorrow’s release of Isaac’s Doernbecher V which will be a tough cop. But the retro V isn’t the only Jordan to drop in the coming months as the popular “Steel” X retro will be quite sought after as well. In addition, collabs from both New Balance and Asics should cause a stir online as well. And who could forget about the debut of the LeBron XI?! Which are you most looking forward to this fall?

Jordan V "Doernbecher" Isaac

Release Date: 9/14/2013

Readers of our previous feature know that Jordan Brand loves to drop Doernbecher heat in the fall and 2013 is no different. This time, JB is taking on the fan-favorite V. For the 10th anniversary of the Nike Freestyle program, Jordan brings out the glow-in-the-dark option to honor the shoe’s inspiration and designer, Isaac Arzate. The limited quantities and contrast between the two looks of the shoe are sure to turn some heads and make this a tough release to secure.

Concepts x New Balance 998 "C-Note"

Release Date: 9/14/2013

Cambridge-based shop Concepts is no stranger to making noise with their New Balance collabs. But, their latest release, the New Balance 998 “C-Note” is causing significant buzz amongst internet sneakerheads. When the teaser was announced, many who’ve been paying attention were expecting a mint-colored 998. But, the boys at CNCPTS had something else up their sleeves; this neutral beige and green 998, inspired by the upcoming design for the $100 bill. Though the masses are thirsting for a shoe that may never release, we think Concepts and New Balance have a winner with these.

Nike KD VI NSW Lifestyle "Birthday"

Release Date: 9/14/2013

Speaking of generating internet buzz, Nike and Kevin Durant did just that when announcing KD’s first lifestyle line over the summer. Dubbed the NSW “Birthday” after the shoe’s designer was inspired by a photo of KD celebrating his born day alongside his mom and grandmother. Sporting polka dots and a crazy double-tongue, this quickstrike release drops Saturday (9/14) at House of Hoops locations, as well as select Nike Sportswear accounts.

Nike KD VI "Bamboo"

Release Date: 9/14/2013

Perhaps with the exception of the “DC Preheat” makeup, most of the conversation surrounding the KD VI colorways announced so far this year have centered on the “Bamboo” release. Inspired by the “Six Arts” of ancient Chinese culture, and designed to represent the physical attributes of the bamboo plant itself (balance, harmony, toughness and versatility), the KD VI Bamboo actually released weeks ago in China, but makes it’s stateside debut this weekend.

BAIT x Asics Gel Saga "Phantom Lagoons"

Release Date: Mid-September

Another season, another dope BAIT collab. This time, the So Cal boutique returns to their partnership with Asics to bring us the Gel Saga “Phantom Lagoons”. With the seasons turning, and the amount of interest in new Asics collabs lately, we’d expect there to be a lot fans of this collab. Though, as of this writing, the release date has not been confirmed, aside from “mid-September”, look for these from BAIT and hopefully other top-tier Asics accounts.

Nike Air Python Retro

Release Date: 9/21/2013

Originally debuting in 1987, the Air Python takes it’s design recipe from some legendary sources. With a little Air Jordan II here, and a little Air Force II there and sprinkled with a bit of faux snakeskin, this creation is just like grandma made…that is if you’re grandma was Tinker Hatfield. Some 26 years later, the Air Python gets a retro in 2 colorways, the first of which is scheduled for a late September drop.

Jordan V "3Lab5"

Release Date: 9/21/2013

Along with the Doernbecher edition, September 2013 will be remembered as a strong month for the Air Jordan V. Never afraid to push the envelope, the boys at Jordan Brand are bringing us all-elephant-print-everything, with the “3Lab5″. Love it or hate it, this one is a head-turner.

Air Jordan XX8 "Elephant Pack"

Release Date: 9/21/2013

Say what you will about the Air Jordan XX8, but in it’s debut year, it’s seen a handful of truly breakneck colorways. And, the next drop is no different. Sporting that familiar elephant print, and a Bulls-friendly black/red/white colorway, we’re sure MJ would approve. After a one week pushback, the “Elephant Print” pack is set to drop in quickstrike fashion on 9/21.

Highs & Lows x Asics "Brick and Mortar" Pack

Release Date: 9/21/2013

And speaking of highly anticipated Asics collabs, this one has been in the hopper for quite a while. Coming all the way from Perth, Australia’s Highs and Lows, the Asics “Bricks and Mortar” pack brings us proper tonal colorways of both a Gel-Lyte III and a GT-II. After announcing this beautiful duo of Asics silos, an unexpected delay caused the folks at HAL to bump the release date. Now, the thirst is real. This dual drop hits Australia on 9/14, and select international Asics accounts later this month on the 21st.

Nike Foamposite One "Thermal Heat Map"

Release Date: 9/28/2013

Following up their Weatherman Foamposite release last month, Nike’s got another meteorology-inspired Foamposite One lined up for us, with what’s been dubbed the “Thermal Heat Map”. Though this unique colorway has quite a few online detractors, judging from the chatter, it’s also going to have a lot of folks ready to cop when the end of September rolls around.

A.P.C. x Nike Air Max 1

Release Date: 9/30/2013

French clothing mainstay A.P.C. has a solid history of collaborations with the Swoosh, particularly favoring the Air Max 1. So, when they drop another AM1 collab, people pay attention. Though the colorway may be better suited for pre-Labor Day weather, this mesh and suede combo, coupled with that classic gum sole could get rocked any day of the year.

FILA "Tobacco Road" Pack

Release Date: 10/3/2013

In addition to one of the most storied rivalries in all of sports, the Tobacco Road rivalry between North Carolina and Duke has also had it’s fair share of sneaker heat. In an attempt to honor that rivalry, Fila is bringing back a pack of sneakers inspired by two of their most popular signature athletes, Jerry Stackhouse and Grant Hill. This retro pack will feature Hill’s second signature, the Fila ’96 and Stackhouse’s Spaghetti, both done up in their respective alma mater’s color schemes. This is the way you’re supposed to retro.

atmos x Nike Air Max 90 Premium 'Camo' Pack

Release Date: 10/5/2013

The combination of Nike and atmos is a duo that is no stranger to ultra-limited releases. After their terrific “Animal Camo” pack earlier in the year, the Tokyo boutique is blessed with another killer camo drop. Coming in consecutive months, Nike’s Premium Camo Pack sees two different camo makeups hit the iconic Air Max 90. Unfortunately for us stateside, this looks to be a Japan exclusive. First up, the Infrared/Duck Camo colorway hits atmos’s SPORTS LAB on October 5, whereas the black/orange Tiger Camo version is set to hit atmos Tokyo in November.

Nike Air Zoom Flight '98 "The Glove"

Release Date: 10/5/2013

Coming this October, Nike will finally placate all the sneakerheads that have been screaming for them to retro the much-beloved Gary Payton signature line of the late ’90s. And, with GP recently getting the nod from Hall of Fame voters, this retro couldn’t come at a better time. You know what they say, if the Glove fits…

Jordan V "Bel-Air"

Release Date: 10/5/2013

Will Smith’s character on the Fresh Prince of Bel Air was seen rocking Air Jordan Vs throughout the series and, with this upcoming release, Jordan Brand shows some love back. Taking inspiration from the wild ’90s colors Big Willie sported back in the day, this new colorway of the V sees a cool grey upper trimmed up with some live pink and purple hits. Super Fresh.

LeBron XI "Parachute Gold"

Release Date: 10/12/2013

The LeBron line has clearly become Nike’s flagship signature basketball sneaker. So the build up this year, for the release of the 11th model in the line, has been huge. Not only the King on the court, you could also say LeBron’s sneakers are the king of colorways too, the first of which will be the awesome “Parachute Gold”. These remind us of the “Canon” colorway that debuted with the LeBron IX. Fire.

Jordan X Retro “Steel”

Release Date: 10/12/2013

Last retro’ed in 2005, 2013 seems like a perfect time to bring back a classic. Being the first colorway released on the Air Jordan X silhouette back in 1994, and, what is arguably the most popular makeup, the “Steel” X returns in mid-October.

Jordan V Retro "Laney"

Release Date: 11/2/2013

Inspired by MJ’s high school colors, the Laney V makes it’s much anticipated retro release in 2013. Thirteen years after the first retro, back in 2000, we’re struggling to think of a model from the Jordan line that’s more highly in demand. This one will absolutely fly off shelves.

LeBron XI “Terracotta Warrior”

Release Date: 11/27/2013

Judging by comments from sneakerheads around the web, Nike appears to have already locked up a W with the LeBron XI “Terracota Warrior”. This one is set to break hearts and bank accounts in late November.

Jordan V "Oreo"

Release Date: 11/29/2013

2013 was the year of the V for Jordan Brand. Even this late in November, and on top of all the other retros that dropped throughout the year, they’re still not done putting out dope new colorways. Just in time for the holidays, the Oreo V is sure to move units.
