After taking a look, please feel free to let us know in the comments section which single pair of sneakers you find best for a particular vacation/travel destination.
Nike Roshe Run
Type of vacation/travel: Spring Break Beach Trip
With the plethora of releases over the years, we’re not the only ones who have experienced Roshe-fatigue lately. But, the fact remains, the Roshe is a fantastic vacation shoe. Especially if you’re hitting up a beach town for Spring Break. Light, comfortable, versatile, but perhaps most importantly, affordable. That will come in handy should you mess them up while you’re, uhh, not of sound mind. We won’t judge.
Nike LunarTerra Arktos Boot
Type of vacation/travel: Ski/Snowboard Weekend Trip
Headed somewhere cold for your next trip? Don’t worry, Nike’s got you there too. Flywire, Hyperfuse, Vac Tec and Lunarlon all combine with an insulated, modular bootie to form the most badass boot Nike has ever made: the LunarTerra Arktos. Available in a handful of clean colorways, the Arktos is basically a Humvee for your foot. This is what the ACG program is all about.
Nike Lunar Flyknit Chukka

Ultra light Flyknit uppers combined with cushy Lunarlon soles? That’s an easy win. Especially if you’re going to spend your whole day in ridiculous lines, like at a theme park. You simply won’t find a more comfortable pair of kicks than the Lunar Flyknit Chukka. And they’re also dope with both pants and shorts, so they’re versatile to boot.
Nike Air Force 1 Duckboot
Type of vacation/travel: Back Home for Thanksgiving
Not all of us are fortunate to be able to return to a place that’s sunny and 70 degrees in November. So if you’ve got to go back home for the holidays, and moms lives in a place that gets a bit wet (like, say the Pacific Nortwest), you can’t go wrong with the Air Force 1 Duckboot. These will keep you both dry and stylish, no matter how much rain Mother Nature throws down at you.

Type of vacation/travel: Spring in NYC
The unofficial sneaker of New York City, the white-on-white Nike Air Force 1 is a must-have during Gotham’s warmer months. Highs, lows or mids, you simply can’t go wrong. Frankly, is there anything fresher than a crispy pair of uptowns? They literally go with anything.
Nike Flyknit Air Max
Type of vacation/travel: Sight Seeing
When Nike first introduced Flyknit technology back in 2012, it blew our minds to think about all it’s potential applications. But what intrigued us the most was the combinations with other cutting-edge Nike tech that the designers would inevitably cook up. And, one of our favorites thus far has been this excellent mashup of Flyknit with the iconic Air Max technology. Lightweight, responsive and comfortable as hell, the Flyknit Air Max is perfect for those sight-seeing trips that have you running all over town.
Air Jordan III Black/Cement
Type of vacation/travel: Anywhere
We’ve already droned on for an entire post about how we think the Black Cement Air Jordan III is quite possibly the greatest athletic sneaker of all time. But seriously, these go with anything, in any weather and in nearly any setting, so they deserve a place on this list.

Breathable, lightweight and amazingly comfortable, the Flyknit Racer is everything the hype has made them out to be. And they’re also the perfect sneaker for a vacation like a trip to Europe. Air Jordan XI
Type of vacation/travel: A Sneakerhead’s Wedding Weekend
You know, as much as we love the Air Jordan line, we’ve got to be real: we’re not a big fan of dress attire with basketball shoes. HOWEVUH…one of the only shoes that can pull of this delicate dance is the Air Jordan XI. Not only is it a pretty solid performance sneaker, but that patent leather trim provides the shine you want for that wedding weekend stunting. Just hope the wedding you’re headed to has a few sneakerheads in it though!
adidas Stan Smith

For those times when you need your kicks to hold up to the stresses of a long hike, but you still want to flex a little when you get back to civilization. The OG Mowabbs ride that line perfectly.
Type of vacation/travel: Summer Vacation in San Diego
Seriously, is there anywhere you can’t wear a pair of Vans Eras? Well, if such a place does exist, we don’t want to go there anyway. But, if you ever find yourself in San Diego, these are the perfect kicks to blend in with the locals. It’s San Diego…you can get in virtually anywhere wearing a pair of Eras.
Nike Air Presto
Type of vacation/travel: A Plane Trip Anywhere
This ain’t the ’50s anymore. When we fly somewhere, we’re not trying to stuff ourselves into a suit. We’re looking strictly at comfort. And the Nike Air Presto’s got that in spades. Not to mention the often slip-on fit the silo is known for will help you get through security without Paul Blart hassling you.
